Surgical options for colorectal cancer

We sat down with Alicia Logue, MD, surgical oncologist at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, to learn what surgical treatment options are available for colon or rectal cancer. Surgery is often the main treatment for early-stage colon cancer as it is the best option for curing a patient of their cancer.
