Mays Cancer Center Symposium

About This Event

The theme of this year’s retreat is “Cancer and Aging” and we are excited to announce we will have three invited keynote speakers, in addition to internal speakers selected from abstract submission or by Cancer Center leadership. Agenda pending and will update as it becomes final.

There will also be a trainee competition (in place of traditional poster session) where predoctoral students and postdoctoral fellows at UT Health San Antonio, whose mentors are cancer center members (either full or associate), will showcase their cancer research projects. Projects presented must be cancer-related, but do not necessarily have to be related to the symposium theme. Judging will be conducted by a panel of Mays Cancer Center members during the symposium and awards presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both predoctoral and postdoctoral categories.
