About Victoria Cooremans, MD
Victoria Cooremans, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Palliative Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
A San Antonio native, Dr. Cooremans earned dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and biology from the University of the Incarnate Word before completing her Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed her internal medicine residency and hospice and palliative care fellowship at The University of Texas Dell Medical School.
Dr. Cooremans finds great joy in caring for the community she calls home. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, inclusive care to patients from all backgrounds. Her clinical interests include cancer and treatment-related symptom management, and her research focuses on healthcare worker well-being and burnout prevention.
