    About Shammi Anholt, MSPT, CLT-LANA

    Shammi Anholt, MSPT, CLT-LANA, is a dedicated physical therapist at UT Health San Antonio within the School of Health Professions. With a comprehensive skillset, Shammi provides expert physical therapy services and specialized lymphedema management for individuals navigating the challenges of cancer. Her passion lies in cancer rehabilitation, where she brings extensive experience working with patients across a wide spectrum of cancer diagnoses, including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, lung, brain, bone, skin, head and neck, and breast cancers, among others.

    Beyond her focus on oncology, Shammi is also highly skilled in addressing orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care for total hip and knee replacements. Furthermore, her clinical experience extends to neurological rehabilitation, assisting patients recovering from strokes (CVA), spinal cord injuries (SCI), Guillain-Barre syndrome, and multiple sclerosis, as well as providing vital cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation. Shammi's diverse expertise and heartfelt commitment make her an invaluable asset in helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life.
