About Randy Wright, M.D.
Dr. Randy Wright graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy. He moved to San Antonio in 2000 and completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson High Risk Cancer Center. His interests are upper endoscopy (EGD); colonoscopy including colon cancer screening and polyp removal; balloon assisted small bowel enteroscopy; capsule endoscopy; Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD); and general gastroenterology including diseases of the liver, esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon. He is active in training GI fellows and a member of the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson High Risk Cancer Genetics Screening Team.
