About Rajat Garg, MD
Rajat Garg, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Human Nutrition at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic before undergoing subspecialty training in advanced endoscopy.
Dr. Garg has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications and presented at numerous national conferences. His clinical and research interests include advanced endoscopic procedures, pancreaticobiliary disorders and healthcare disparities. He is an associate editor for the Avicenna Journal of Medicine and a manuscript reviewer for several leading medical journals. He is also an active member of several prominent gastroenterology societies.
