Noah Rozich, MD

Noah Rozich, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery at UT San Antonio. He is a surgical oncologist who specializes in treating tumors of the digestive system and soft tissues. He provides surgical care for patients with cancers of the stomach, small intestine, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts and pancreas, developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s diagnosis and needs.

Dr. Rozich earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.

During his training, Dr. Rozich dedicated two years to cancer research, including one year of National Institutes of Health-supported pancreatic cancer research in Lei Zheng’s laboratory at Johns Hopkins University. He then completed a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

His practice includes hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, or HIPEC. This advanced treatment delivers a heated chemotherapy solution directly into the abdomen during surgery to treat certain cancers that have spread to the lining of the abdominal cavity. He also treats soft tissue sarcomas and performs complex abdominal surgeries, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists to coordinate each patient’s care.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Rozich remains active in research focused on improving surgical care and outcomes for patients with pancreatic and other gastrointestinal cancers.
