About Nilan Naik, MD, DABR
Nilan Naik, MD, is a radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He treats all adult cancers, with a focus on prostate and head and neck cancers, at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Naik earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his radiation oncology residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch, where he trained at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist Hospital. He also completed advanced brachytherapy training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, specializing in both low-dose-rate and high-dose-rate prostate brachytherapy, as well as complex interstitial gynecologic brachytherapy.
