About Neil Newman, MD
Neil Newman, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and is a radiation oncologist at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on lung and gastrointestinal cancers.
He enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans for his patients. His research interests include hematologic toxicity from radiation therapy, synergism of the immune system using immunotherapy with radiation therapy, novel radiologic tracers for disease response, database analysis, and methodological research.
