About Megan Parmer, MD
Megan Parmer, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is an endocrine surgeon specializing in benign and malignant tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands
Parmer earned her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso and completed her general surgery residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She then completed a fellowship in endocrine surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
At Mays Cancer Center, Parmer provides advanced surgical care for patients with complex endocrine diseases, including hyperparathyroidism, thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, hyperthyroidism and adrenal disease. She works closely with multidisciplinary specialists to deliver individualized treatment plans and is dedicated to improving outcomes through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
