Lauren Mills, MS, CGC

Lauren Mills, CGC, is a certified genetic counselor at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. She holds a Master of Science in genetic counseling from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. 

As a genetic counselor, she works with individuals with a personal and/or family history of cancer to provide a genetic risk assessment and identification of hereditary cancer syndromes, coordinate genetic testing and educate the patient regarding future cancer risks and medical management options. In addition, she provides supportive psychosocial counseling for individuals and family members with hereditary cancer syndromes.
