Kirby Thames, PT, DPT, CLT

Kirby Thames, PT, DPT, CLT, is a physical therapist at UT Health San Antonio’s Mays Cancer Center, specializing in oncology rehabilitation and lymphedema management. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and is a certified lymphedema therapist through the Norton School of Lymphatic Studies. She has more than three years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopaedics and cancer rehabilitation.

Kirby provides individualized, evidence-based care to help patients manage lymphedema, improve mobility and maintain physical function during and after cancer treatment. Her expertise includes managing swelling, improving limb function and educating patients on ways to reduce the risk of infection and other complications.

With a strong focus on patient advocacy and independence, Kirby is dedicated to helping patients regain strength, improve their quality of life and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals.
