About Gerardo Rosas, MD
Gerardo Rosas, MD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Before joining us, he served as a chief fellow while completing his fellowship in hematology-oncology at Baylor College of Medicine. Previously, he earned the Outstanding Resident Award from the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio.
His clinical interests involve blood cancers, focusing on lymphomas, leukemias and myelodysplastic syndromes. His research experience includes projects focused on clinical outcomes in Hispanic patients with lymphoid cancers and the evolution of clonal hematopoiesis (CH) in CAR T-cell recipients.
