About Gary Lewis, MD
Gary Lewis, MD, is an associate professor of radiation oncology in the Division of Radiation Oncology at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in radiation therapies for gynecologic, hematologic and head and neck cancers. His primary area of focus is treating gynecologic cancers using innovative technologies such as brachytherapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).
He obtained his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his residency in radiation oncology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Lewis did residency clinical rotations at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
