Gary Lewis, MD

Gary Lewis, MD, is an associate professor of radiation oncology in the Division of Radiation Oncology at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. He specializes in radiation therapies for gynecologic, hematologic and head and neck cancers, with a primary focus on treating gynecologic cancers using advanced technologies such as brachytherapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy.

Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he also completed clinical rotations at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston.
