About Elizabeth Diaz, PA-C
Elizabeth Diaz, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in medical oncology at Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center. She started her career in pediatrics and family medicine. She joined The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2007 to pursue her interest in cancer research.
She has worked in medical oncology for over 15 years, primarily treating patients with advanced malignancies in the sarcoma and genitourinary clinics. Elizabeth is interested in cancer research and cares for patients in Phase I clinical trials.
She completed her undergraduate training at The University of Texas at Austin and graduated from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston with a bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
