Deepak Pruthi, MD

Dr. Deepak Pruthi, MD, MSCI, FRCSC, is an assistant professor in the Division of Urologic Oncology, Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. He is an American Board Certified Urologist who is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He completed an SUO-approved Urologic Oncology Fellowship.

While he manages the spectrum of urologic cancers, he has a particular interest in kidney cancer, adrenal tumors, testicular cancer, penile cancer, and advanced prostate cancer. He performs the full breadth of surgical interventions, from robotic, pure laparoscopic, and open surgery. He has a particular interest in partial nephrectomy, kidney cancer with thrombus, and retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy for metastatic testis cancer.
