Christine Taylor, MD

Christine Burke Taylor, MD, is an associate professor of head and neck surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at UT Health San Antonio. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Taylor studied Spanish literature at the University of Notre Dame and fell in love with San Antonio during medical school. She is proud to serve the South Texas community and is fluent in Spanish.

In addition to her general surgical practice, Dr. Taylor specializes in facial paralysis and nerve disorders. She works closely with physical therapists to help restore function and confidence for her patients. She also performs complex facial reconstruction following skin cancer removal and head and neck surgery, including advanced microvascular tissue transfers.

Dr. Taylor completed her residency training at UT Health San Antonio and a specialized fellowship at the University of Minnesota and the Hilger Clinic, where she gained advanced expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the head and face. She is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care with a patient-first approach that helps each individual feel and look their best.
