Ashlee Blume, PA

Ashlee Blume, PA, joined the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center as an orthopaedic oncology physician assistant in 2021.

Ashlee completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of North Texas in Dallas, Texas, followed by earning her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her clinical rotations, she chose elective rotations in Trauma and Orthopaedic Trauma and gained experience dealing with orthopaedic injuries and pathology.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Ashlee worked as a medical assistant in a hospital's oncology and neurology unit and then transitioned to a spinal imaging technician at a radiology center in Austin, Texas.
