Alexa Bell, LCSW

Alexa Bell, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with experience in community mental health. She recently joined the Patient and Family Services team at Mays Cancer Center, where she provides emotional support, counseling and case management to individuals and families facing cancer.

Alexa specializes in trauma-focused therapy, crisis support and suicide risk assessment. She has worked with adults, teens and their families to help them cope with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress and the challenges associated with a new or ongoing medical diagnosis. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed and solution-focused, with an emphasis on helping people feel safe, supported and empowered during difficult moments.
