About Aaron Sugalski, DO
Aaron Sugalski, DO, is an associate professor in Pediatrics at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. He specializes in treating pediatric, adolescent and young adult patients with solid tumors, including neuroblastoma, Wilms tumor and hepatoblastomas. He has expertise in treating patients with bone and soft tissue sarcomas as well as germ cell tumors. He takes pride in working with multidisciplinary teams to treat these cancers.
Sulgaski attended Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas, for his undergraduate degree, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. He attended medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. He moved back to Texas in 2006, completing his residency in pediatrics and fellowship training in pediatric hematology-oncology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, in San Antonio, Texas.
Sugalski also enjoys working with medical students, residents and fellows. Additionally, he participates in multi-institutional research projects in the Children’s Oncology Group. He is the Co-principal investigator for the Texas Pediatric Minority Underserve NCORP and is a contributing part to Pediatric Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Investigators' Consortium. Suglaski is on the Children’s Oncology Group Cancer Care Deliver Research Steering Committee.
Sugalski was named one of San Antonio’s Top Doctors in 2022 in Texas Monthly.
