Cancer Moonshot Retreat

About This Event

Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invite you to a joint networking retreat. This retreat will feature research presentations from the Mays Cancer Center members as well as UTSA faculty and breakout sessions to facilitate networking and collaborations. The retreat is open to faculty and staff from both institutions as well as student/trainees with an interest in cancer research. The overarching goal of this retreat is much deeper collaborations between investigators from the two institutions. We are accepting entries for poster presentation from students/ trainees with cancer-related research projects. See registration for more information.

Following the retreat, a Request for Applications (RFA) will be released seeking collaborative pilot research projects that result from connections made between faculty at the retreat. To be eligible, a project must have a PI/co-PI from each institution and must have participated in the retreat.

Researchers from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and The University of Texas at San Antonio are encouraged to attend.
