Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship 5K and 1 Mile Walk. The Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson will hold its 5th Annual Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship Virtual 5K and 1 Mile Walk on Nov. 7, 2020. This annual event’s purpose is to celebrate cancer survivors and to raise awareness about cancer survivorship. The race illustrates that today’s cancer survivors continue to increase in number with a better quality of life than ever before.
The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is presented by the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, the American Association for Cancer Research and Baylor College of Medicine. We work to advance progress against breast cancer. This annual symposium presents essential information for doctors and patients, combined with engrossing discussion for basic, translational and clinical cancer research professionals.
The UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center Symposium is presented by the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, supported by an NCI Cancer Center Support Grant. The symposium is for member cancer researchers (both associate and full) and interested predoctoral and postdoctoral students. Abstract submissions can be completed through our online submission system.
The Practical Applications of New Agents in Oncology Conference educates healthcare professionals about newly available agents in oncology. The conference offers information on new immunotherapies and a discussion of new clinical studies for anticancer agents. Several world-renowned and local speakers discuss how to incorporate these agents into standard clinical practice, providing guidance to the front-line clinicians, nurses and pharmacists regarding current or projected appropriate use of these therapeutics.
