About Colin Court, MD, PhD
Colin Court, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery, specializing in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancer at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
He completed his general surgery residency at the University of California in Los Angeles, California, and his surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.
Court earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He earned his doctorate degree in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology at the University of California in Los Angeles, California, completing a doctoral dissertation focusing on bioinformatics, computational biology and machine learning for translational biomarker development for gastrointestinal cancers.
His clinical and research focus is managing advanced gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer, with special interest in translational biomarker development.
