Our spiritual companion program provides spiritual and emotional support to cancer patients and families. Our trained volunteer's journey with the cancer patient and his or her family, using your own belief system. Our volunteers listen and support you during the emotional and spiritual challenge that a cancer diagnosis can be.
Holy days from all religious faiths are celebrated throughout the year, The Wellness Center provides opportunities for patients and staff to celebrate Hanukkah, Ash Wednesday and Good Friday as well as the other holy days from other faith traditions.
Cancer patients struggle with a variety of spiritual issues, which can lead to distress. Many times patients don’t have a place they can turn to for help. The Wellness Center has the ability to make referrals to community clergy for spiritual support and counseling.
A non-denominational chapel is located on the 2nd floor of the Zeller Building for prayer and reflection.
