Our social worker helps patients navigate treatment, and offers direction and support to patients and families. Sessions are individualized to the patient’s needs. The social worker is an expert at identifying resources for oncology patients. Our staff ensures the patient receives needed care throughout the trajectory of their illness. The service is available to all of the UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center patients on a walk-in basis.
